Rooted in Community and Culture

Rooted in lived experience, SoapBoxJones Kosmik Media brings a unique and authentic perspective to storytelling and advocacy. Its founder, a Baltimore City foster care survivor and U.S. Navy veteran (July 1997 – April 2006), built this platform outside of traditional pathways—driven by firsthand knowledge of institutional barriers and the need for independent, community-controlled media.
